Social event / excursion:
On Tuesday afternoon (May 31) there will be an excursion to Bruges, where also the conference dinner will take place.
The program for this excursion is as follows (tentative time-table):
- 2.00 p.m. Pick up at the conference hotel and departure from Oostende, by coach.
- 2.30 p.m. Walk from busstop at Bruges to city-centre.
- 3.00 p.m. Visit (with guide) of the Governor's Residence, right in the heart of the city centre. Drink offered by the Governor.
- 4.30 p.m. Feel free at Bruges. As Bruges is small, and we will be right in the city-centre, lot's of possibilities are there to visit by yourself. Quite popular are guided visits by horse-carriage or by boat-trip, but also walking around is definitely an option.
- 7.15 p.m. Conference dinner will be held at Duc De Bourgogne, located at one of the nicest spots in the historical centre of the city.
- After the conference dinner, and walking back to the coach, return to Oostende
