Innovation award

The Ondernemerscentrum Kortrijk ("Kortrijk business centre") and the West-Flanders Innovation Centre organize every year the Innovation Awards contest, rewarding the most innovative student final year projects in higher education in West-Flanders. Christophe Favoreel - a student from the Katho institution - whose final year project was about "the Franel learning environment", won the Innovation Award for education this year. The Lingu@tic team (directed by Prof. Piet Desmet), who supported Christophe's work, are very proud of this distinction.
