ITEC2010 Proceedings – Instructions for Authors

The ITEC2010 Proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag in its Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series – see Information for CCIS authors. Regular papers should preferably be limited to 14 pages under the Springer format.

Deadline for the following items is June 30, 2010.

1. Copyright form

Email the signed CCIS copyright form to stefan.dewannemacker@kuleuven-kortrijk.be .

2. Registration

For your paper to be included in the ITEC2010 conference proceedings, it is mandatory that at least one of the co-authors be registered by the submission deadline. To register, send an email to stefan.dewannemacker@kuleuven-kortrijk.be with subject “ITEC2010 conference proceedings registration” mentioning the article’s title, corresponding author, all co-authors and their affiliation.

Deadline for the following is July 31, 2010.

3. Format and upload

Please read and follow closely the CCIS instruction for authors. You are strongly encouraged to use LATEX2ε for the preparation of your camera-ready manuscript together with the corresponding class file llncs.cls in llncs2e.zip and latex source sample in typeinst.zip. Both files are also available on the ITEC2010 conference website http://www.kuleuven-kortrijk.be/itec2010/proceedings  .

In the unlikely event that you are unable to use LATEX you may use MS Word together with the template sv-lncs and the sample file typeinst in Springer’s  word.zip. Again, files are also available on the ITEC2010 conference website.

Electronically submit your paper using the ITEC2010 Easychair system.  For problems or questions email stefan.dewannemacker@kuleuven-kortrijk.be.

What to Submit?

Upload a single archived file comprising all your files using the Easychair.org system. Upload here.

For Latex/Tex users (strongly preferred)

1.

Your source files, e.g. TEX files for the text and PS or EPS files for figures.

2.

Any style files, templates, and special fonts you may have used.

3.

The final DVI file.

4.

The final PS file. When generating the PS file avoid using the option "reverse order".

5.

The final PDF file of the final version of your contribution.

For MS Word and other users (really discouraged):

1.

Your source files, e.g. .doc file for the text and files for figures, if any.

2.

Any style files, templates, and special fonts you may have used.

3.

The final RTF file

4.

Springer has recently introduced an extra control loop: once data processing has been finished, Springer will contact the corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers.

My best regards
