Wave Spectroscopy (AERONEWS) **********************
On September 15, 2006 the AERONEWS consortium will organize a General Update Meeting in the Ghent River Hotel in Ghent, Belgium.
The meeting will give an overview of the realisations of the AERONEWS EU-FP6 project which started in March 2004, and runs till March 2008.
More information on the AERONEWS project can be found on the website: http://www.kuleuven-kortrijk.be/aeronews. Feel free to have a look at our Folder and Brochure. Upon simple request, we can also give you access to the intermediate reports.
The meeting starts at 9:30 with a general introduction and continues with an update of the progress made in the different workpackages (WP1-5).
In the afternoon, after discussing the future plans, the EU Scientific Officer of the project, Mr. Hans von den Driesch , will close the meeting with some words on the FP7 framework: contents and changes.
Ghent is a very nice medieval city, and I am sure you will enjoy the combination of the meeting and the city. I hope to see you there.

The Ghent River Hotel has agreed on a special price for the meeting participants. Please contact them via the website and specify the AERONEWS meeting in your reservation request. A single room is 120 EUR, including breakfast.
An alternative is the Hotel Gravensteen, which is a bit cheaper (3 stars). A single room is 104 EUR, a double is 114 EUR (all including breakfast).
